Extending screeds

VÖGELE extending screeds are particularly adaptable, making them ideal for paving in varying widths and on winding roads. They cover a wide field of applications, handling paving widths from 10 in to 31 ft 2 in. Depending on the type of paver used, they can be equipped with various compacting systems. The range extends from the simplest screed version with vibrators (V) to the most powerful high compaction screeds with tamper (T) and two pressure bars (P2).

The extending screed with a wide range of applications in the Universal Class and the Highway Class

The AB 600 extending screed has a basic width of 3 meters (9.85 ft). Equipped with the robust single-tube telescoping system, its paving width is infinitely variable up to 6 meters (19.7 ft). With the addition of bolt-on extensions, even strips as wide as 9.5 meters (31.2 ft) can be paved without joints. As a result, the screed is ideal for use with the Dash 3 pavers of the Universal Class and the Highway Class. In addition to the screed versions TV, TP1 and TP2, the TP2 Plus variant is also available for the AB 600 extending screed to achieve particularly high precompaction.
