With just the flick of a switch, raise the cutting deck to a near-90° vertical position for safe underside access, easy cleaning, quicker blade changes, and more.

Save trailer space.

When the deck is completely raised, your FrontMount mower has a footprint equal to that of a MidMount™, saving you immense space when loading onto a trailer for transport or into a shed for long-term storage.

One switch does it all. 

The PowerFold doesn't just fold up for easier maintenance, but allows you to adjust your cutting height as well. Move your cutting height between 1.25 and 5 inches without the need to reposition hitch pins or perform other time-consuming tasks.

Obstacle cutting made easy. 

The low-profile, out-front design lets you easily nose in and out of tight spaces under fences, shrubs, and low-hanging trees. This virtually eliminates the need for string trimming.

• With their superior out-front reach and True ZeroTurn™ maneuverability, Grasshopper FrontMount mowers maximize your mowing potential, allowing you to maneuver under branches, conquer uneven terrain, and skirt fenceline.

Wide-Stance Single-Fork Tail Wheel

• The standard for most of our models, wide-stance single-fork tail wheels provide greater weight distribution and increased flotation, while improving stability and castering effect.

QuikConverter Attachment Capability

• The QuikConverter™ Attachment System allows you to easily remove and connect both cutting decks and attachments. With a two-point system that features a total of two spring-loaded pins, you'll easily equip your Grasshopper zero-turn for any job in minutes without the need of a single tool.

Hydraulic Deck Lift

• The hydraulic deck lift allows you to raise your deck to clear curbs and other obstacles, protecting your deck and blades from unnecessary, avoidable damage.

High-Temperature Clutch Cut-Out

• The high-temperature clutch cut-out keeps tabs on the engine temperature gauge, automatically shutting off the PTO in the rare event it overheats. This is a particularly useful safeguard in multi-operator environments or dry, dusty conditions. Only available on the 932 and 900D.

Premier Suspension Seat

• The premier suspension seat is fully adjustable, iso-mounted to reduce vibrations, and covered in breathable Cordura® fabric. The seat adjusts to the operator's weight and can be moved fore and aft. The backrest tilts, the armrests fold, and the lumbar support can be adjusted as necessary.

Horizontal Crankshaft Engine

• The horizontal crankshaft engine offers rear access to the clutch and provides more uniform oil cooling, better airflow, and better lubrication, all of which combine to increase the durability and performance life of the engine.

DuraMax Deck

• DuraMax® contour-cut decks are 5.5-inches deep and feature specially designed cutting chambers that deliver superior airflow for a better cut quality. The decks are made from robotically welded, heavy-gauge, formed steel. Plus, an extra layer of formed steel sits over the deck's leading edge for greater overall durability and impact protection.

MARBAIN® Cutting Blades

• MARBAIN® cutting blades are 1/4-inch thick and are through-hardened to hold their edge longer, delivering a better cut and twice the life of aftermarket blades.

Low Center Of Gravity

• A low-center-of-gravity design provides a smoother ride and lighter footprint for optimal traction and stability.

Ultimate Operator Station

• The Grasshopper Ultimate Operator Station™ is centered around a deep-cushioned seat featuring coil-spring suspension and padded lumbar support. The seat is iso-mounted to reduce vibration and covered in cool, comfortable Cordura® fabric that won't tear or crack with extended use.
• It also features easy-to-reach operational controls, including the throttle, ignition, and push/pull PTO switch. Plus, QuikAjust Tilt™ dual levers with a 9-inch adjustment range allows for a more custom fit and will automatically return to neutral from either forward or reverse.

Steel Build

• A robotically welded, high-grade US steel frame and formed steel I-beam reinforcement, combined with the all-steel deck, prove that we put metal where it matters—everywhere.

Design-Matched G3 Transmission

• A rugged G3 hydrostatic transmission with auxiliary cooling fans, Hydro-Gear variable displacement 21-cc piston-type pumps, and high-torque Parker wheel motors ensures a more efficient power transfer to the drive. The transmission also features a CoolFan hydro cooling system with 7-micron absolute filters. These features mean the unit requires less maintenance, with an industry-leading 1,000-hour fluid change interval.
