MINI EXCAVATOR, BIG POWER

The E50D is powered by a 58.7 hp (43.8 kW) Stage V-certified Kubota engine, known for durability, low emissions and fuel-saving features like Eco Mode, auto idle and a reversible cooling fan to keep radiators clear and engines running at optimal temperatures. This power is housed in a compact and easily transportable package, measuring 8 ft 5 in (2570 mm) in height and 18 ft 4 in (5580 mm) in overall transport length.

ARMED TO DIG

Specify your D Series compact excavator with the arm length to best suit your requirements. Length on the E50D standard digging arm measures up to 4 ft 11 in (1.5 m) and 5 ft 9 in (1.75 m) with the long arm. 

The standard arm yields 10 ft 11 in (3330 mm) of maximum digging depth and gets a maximum 11 ft 9 in (3580 mm) below surface with the long arm. With all this muscle, plus 5,283 lbf (2350 daN) of standard arm digging force, the E50D will quickly become your partner in productivity.

DESIGNED TO DUMP

The standard arm on the E450D provides a maximum 12 ft 10 in (3920 mm) of dump height and 9666.8 lbf (4300 daN) in bucket breakout force. If your operation requires a greater dump height, opt for the optional long arm that gets up to 13 ft 5 in (4080 mm) in maximum dump height.

DESIGNED FOR AND AROUND YOU

The E50D is available with with a ROPS/FOPS canopy or a fully enclosed cab. Both configurations are packed with comfort and safety features. In the cab, operators will find a fabric pneumatic suspension seat with automatic weight control, height-adjustable armrests, manual or automatic climate control; plus, six directional vents and intuitive joystick-mounted controls that move with the seat for smoother, more precise operation over uneven terrain.  

Additional cab features include a sliding right-side window, overhead-opening front window, radio and speakers, rearview mirrors, front wiper/washer, USB and 12V charging ports and bottle holder. A seven-inch color LCD display provides a view to the back of the unit through the integrated rear view camera, real-time feedback on coolant and hydraulic oil temperatures, fuel levels, engine RPM, machine hours and DPF regeneration status. Safety-focused details include a control cut-out lever, manual/auto idle settings, RPM hand dial, a 2-inch seat belt, emergency exit hammer and keyed locks common to the ignition.

SIMPLE SERVICEABILITY

For contractors and operators, serviceability is a key component to weigh when considering mini excavators. The E50D includes a tipping cab/canopy for full engine access, as well as three large side and rear panels that offer fast access to key service points. Just two bolts need to be removed to tip the cab.
